a talk with joni

so, i sat down, and paid full attention. We had some discussion about the conventional issue, life. What is life ? Wow, first time i really gave opinion about what life is. Joni just had that thoughtful eyes and haunting voice, so haunting that it gave me goosebumps all the time, so i was dragged away totally by what is she saying about.

Moons, Junes and Ferris wheels, the dancing way that you feel when fairy tales came real, love looked at that way. but now it just another show, leave them laughing when you go. It's love illusion i recall....

Tears and fears and feeling proud, dreams and schemes and circus crowds, I looked at life that way. But now old friends they are acting strange, they shaked their heads telling me that i've changed. Well, some thing's lost, some thing's gained, in living everyday.

i looked in clouds, love, and life in both sides now. From win and lose, but still some how. It's life illusion i recall, i really don;t know life, i really don't know life at all."

okok, it's not hard to see that these phrases look so lyric-fied. Yea la, it's "both sides now" from JoniMitchell. Go hear it and LEARN it if you got time. This old woman sang so hauntingly till you'll feel like she's singing beside you (2000 version is more recommended, Joni was a teen singer in the 60's, that's why i call her "old woman"..)

it's quite philosophic, if we can see through her words. Well. lot things happen around me these days, learnt lot stuff as well, i am looking life exactly from both sides now, i think i am quite a stubborn, head-strong person in some way, no wonder always scolded by family, friends and hurt them.
To people who i love and love me, forgive me for what i've done and hurt you if i did (if i didn't, then still apology la..)
